HUGE HOLIDAY LETTING SUCCESS

It doesn’t matter which way you look at it, since introducing our Premium Holiday Letting strategy in 2019, our holiday rental department has boomed and our owners have reaped the rewards.

In 2018, prior to offering our Premium Letting opportunity to landlords, Holiday Caloundra was experiencing around 1670 paid bookings per year, and property owners were sharing approximately  $1.87m in tariffs.  However, after we released our Premium Letting package, bookings have sky-rocketed.  Over the last 12 months owners have received more than 3200 paid bookings, sharing more than $3.2million in tariffs. A massive increase that has seen most owners now earning twice their original revenue or more.

While a number of Premium Letting initiatives have driven these successes, partnerships with Booking.com and AirBnB (plus others) have been the most significant contributors to the success of the strategy.  Not only have they directly contributed to a 36% overall increase in bookings, but they have also increased overall demand for properties – which enables owners to boost their nightly tariffs.

Other elements of the Premium Letting strategy, such as offering linen hire to guests at lower prices than other providers, providing bed-making services to owners and guests, and offering beach equipment hire to guests have also contributed to the overall success of the program.

27 new properties have joined Holiday Caloundra over the last 12-14 months, with several other property owners about to join the team in the next few weeks, so we can’t help but feel we’re doing something right.
